Lively Ponds

Artificial ponds challenges

Pathogenic contamination in pond water involves disease-causing microorganisms like E. coli, Cryptosporidium, Giardia, and harmful bacteria.

When pond water evaporates, these pathogens can become airborne and pose a risk of inhalation for people nearby. Inhaling these microorganisms can result in respiratory infections, gastrointestinal illnesses, and other negative health impacts.

The warm climate and ample sunlight in ponds create conditions conducive to excessive algae growth. Algae flourishes in nutrient-rich water and can result in aesthetic problems like water discoloration and unpleasant odors.

Ponds with pathogen contamination and algae create favorable conditions for mosquito breeding and the transmission of human dangerous diseases.

Primary Benefits of Pond Treatment

Enhanced Water Quality: Pond Treatment Technology greatly improves water quality by effectively targeting and eliminating harmful pollutants, contaminants, and organic matter. This leads to cleaner and healthier water, benefiting aquatic life and overall ecosystem balance.

Algae and Weed Control: The advanced pond treatment system provides efficient control over algae blooms and invasive weed growth. It effectively inhibits their proliferation, preventing excessive growth and maintaining the ecological balance of the pond.

Odor Reduction: By eliminating the underlying causes of these odors, it significantly reduces or even eliminates foul smells, enhancing the overall environment and nearby surroundings.

Mosquito Population Reduction: Hydroxyl saturated water effectively reduces mosquito populations. Treated water disrupts the breeding cycle and target mosquitoes at different life stages, including eggs, and larvae. This helps to minimize their numbers and prevent future generations from thriving by disrupting the breeding cycle.

Cost-effective Solution: Utilizing pond treatment technology can lead to cost savings in the long run. By addressing water quality issues promptly and effectively, it helps prevent expensive damage caused by pollution or excessive weed growth. It also minimizes the need for costly and frequent maintenance or manual interventions.

Easy Implementation: Pond treatment system is designed for ease of implementation. The technology can be seamlessly integrated into existing pond management infrastructure without requiring extensive modifications or disruptions. This allows for a hassle-free transition and immediate benefits.

Customizable and Scalable: Pond Treatment Solutions are highly customizable and scalable, catering to the specific needs of various types and sizes of ponds. Whether it's a small recreational pond or a large city water body, their technology can be tailored to provide optimal result.

Superior to other methods: In contrast to alternative Advanced Oxidation Processes like ozone and ultraviolet techniques, our technology manages substantial water volumes while generating a significant concentration of hydroxyl radicals and reactive oxygen species, ensuring highly efficient water treatment.

Safety: Pond water ensures safety for humans, animals, birds, and reptiles.

Practical implementation options

1. Hydrodynamic Plasma Chamber (HPC) integrated to Pond’s circulation/filtration system.

The water circulation and filtration system in medium and large ponds typically consists of a network of water intake lines and return lines, converging in the engine-filtration room. This system ensures efficient water circulation by distributing intake points throughout the reservoir and returning treated water to the ponds.

The proposed innovative technical solution involves the installation of an HPC in the water circulation system, which generates Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) and hydroxyl radicals through powerful ionization. ROS-enriched water returns to the pond and initiate potent chain redox water treatment reactions.

The treated water efficiently combats pathogens, prevents algae growth, eliminates odors, and disrupts mosquito life cycles, addressing multiple concerns simultaneously.

2. Portable treatment unit for small golf course ponds.

The Unit is effortlessly transportable between ponds on golf cart or compact truck, and designed as a rigid case, including a coarse water filter, water pump, Hydrodynamic Plasma Chamber, Switching Power Supply, and batteries. The batteries store energy from solar panels optionally.

The unit is equipped with hoses for water intake from the Pond and discharge treated water back into the Pond.

Volume of treated water:  up to 50 tons per hour.

Weight: 50 kg., Dimensions (meters): 1.5 L, 1. W, 0.5 H

3. The Aquatic Robotic System, designed for large ponds with varied shoreline profiles.

The Aquatic Robotic System resembles floating platform with a waterproof, sealed case and a programmable block for precise trajectory, duration, and movement cycle control. The System incorporates pipes for efficient water intake from and discharge back into the Pond.

After completing its assigned tasks, the autonomous aquatic robot seamlessly navigates back to the designated parking dock, securely positions itself, and initiates automatic battery recharging.

Volume of treated water: up to 70 tons per hour., Weight: about 120kg., Dimensions (meters) 1.5L, 1.2W, 0.7 H.
